Kevin R. Burns has been named vice president of business development at Bank Rhode Island. He will be responsible for developing new relationships with Rhode Island businesses seeking credit and deposit services. Burns joins BankRI from Citizens Bank, where he was regional manager of business banking and oversaw a team of business development bankers. Burns has a B.A. from LeMoyne College. •
