Philip M. Weinstein has been elected treasurer of the Rhode Island Bar Association.
He has been in private practice since 1995, and previously had worked in the Rhode
Island Attorney General’s office as well as at the firm of Licht and Semonoff
as partner. Weinstein earned is undergraduate degree from Boston University and
his juris doctorate from Howard University. His professional associations include
the American, Massachusetts and Federal Bar Associations, the Association of Trial
Lawyers, the RIBA House of Delegates and the RIBA Superior Court Bench/Bar Committee,
where he served as chairperson. He also is on the board of directors of the Gordon
School and the board of trustees of Community Preparatory School.
