Linda H. Simmons has been named chief financial officer and treasurer at Bank Rhode Island and will assume responsibility for additional business lines as a result of a recent organizational realignment. Simmons will have responsibility for the departments of human resources, operations and information technology. She has a B.S. in accounting from Babson College and a MBA from Suffolk University.
