Lisa S. Holley, chairperson of the R.I. Parole Board, has received a Neil J. Houston Memorial Award for service to the criminal justice profession and the public interest. Before joining the parole board in 1997, she was a Warwick police officer for 15 years, rising to the rank of sergeant. A faculty member at Salve Regina University, Holley is president of the Association of Paroling Authorities International.
