Lou Schwechheimer, vice president and general manager of the Pawtucket Red Sox, has been named "Person of the Year" by the Ad Club of Southeastern New England. Schwechheimer was selected for this honor by a committee of his peers for the positive contributions he has made to the communications industry and to the community at large. Schwechheimer serves on numerous boards, such as Roger Williams Zoo, Providence College Athletic Advisory Board, Tomorrow Fund at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club and National Handicapped Sports.
