Peter Matteo has been named chief information officer at Teknor Apex Company of
Pawtucket. He will be responsible for heading Teknor’s information systems group
and overseeing its function in the Rhode Island corporate offices as well as global
plants and operations. He previously served as vice president of information technology
for electronic components manufacturer Thomas & Betts. He was also formerly
employed at Augat, Inc., where he directed information technology operations.
Matteo holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and a MBA, both from
Providence College. A native of Rhode Island, he resides in North Providence with
his family.
