Merlin DeConti has been promoted to senior vice president, facilities management at Johnson & Wales University. He is responsible for the design and construction of the facilities for the new $82 million Charlotte campus, as well as assuming responsibility for the development and management of the capital budgets for all of the University’s campuses. DeConti earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island.
