Michael Barrett has been appointed the director of marketing and sales at the Renaissance Providence Hotel. He will be responsible for enhancing the hotel’s current marketing and sales strategies. Barrett brings more than 25 years of experience in the hotel industry to his new position. He has a B.A. in hotel management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. •
