Michael G. Fortin has been named vice president, branch manager of The Washington Trust Company’s North Kingstown branch. He will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the branch, growing the branch’s deposit base and loan portfolios and maintaining the bank’s role in the community. He has a B.S. and an M.A. in business administration from Bryant University. •
