PROVIDENCE — The Narragansett Electric Company has enhanced its web site, adding features it says are of particular use for customers who want to do business online.
According to the company, customers may use the web site to open and close accounts, transfer service, submit meter readings, update contact information and view bill payment and electrical usage information. Customers may also use the site to locate home contractors, perform energy audits, choose power suppliers and learn about energy conservation, the company said.
