Nestor signs contract with Delaware

Nestor Inc. announced today that is has signed a formal agreement with the Delaware Department of Transportation to install CrossingGuard at up to 20 intersections across the state.

The contract has an initial term of three years, with two optional three-year extensions. Under the agreement, Nestor’s subsidiary, Nestor Traffic Systems, will provide hardware installation, software licensing and back-office services for the state’s Electronic Red Light Safety Program.

Installation of the system has already been completed at one intersection and is underway at another two locations. Providence’s Nestor Inc. used its video image processing capabilities to create Crossing Guard as a solution for automated red-light enforcement.
