New state retirement assistant director appointed

PROVIDENCE — Diane S. Bourne has been appointed assistant director of the Employees
Retirement System of Rhode Island, it was announced by General Treasurer Paul
J. Tavares and the board of the ERSRI. Bourne has been assistant director in charge
of member services for the last eight years. She succeeds James Reilly who retired
last year. A 1973 graduate of Rhode Island College, Bourne spent 17 years with
Travelers Insurance Companies before joining ERSRI.
