Blackstone Caterers and Newport Harbor Corp. signed a merger agreement yesterday, under which the catering company will become a subsidiary of Newport Harbor Corp.
Newport Harbor Corp., based in Newport, operates several hospitality businesses, including the Newport Yachting Center and the Newport Exhibition Group (which operates the Newport Waterfront Festivals and Newport International Boat Show), Castle Hill Inn and Resort, the Mooring Restaurant and the Admiral Fitzroy Inn.

Blackstone Caterers is a preferred caterer for the Newport Preservation Society, having organized more than 1,000 weddings and functions at Newport mansions.
