Patrick T. Conley

Patrick T. Conley’s book, entitled Rhode Island in Rhetoric and Reflection: Public Addresses and Essays, has been released by The Rhode Island Publications Society. Conley’s sixteenth book is comprised of sixty essays on a wide range of Rhode Island topics spanning the entire history of the state. Among the volume’s topics are ethnic heritage, sports, law, constitutional development, military history, local history, biography, and Rhode Island Catholicism. The illustrated book has won high praise from prestigious and learned reviewers.
