Philip M. Weinstein has been named president of the Rhode Island Bar Association. He has private practices in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Weinstein is a member of the Bar Association’s Executive Committee and House of Delegates, served as chairperson of the Superior Court Bench/Bar Committee and is past president of the R.I. Association of Trial Lawyers. Weinstein received a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a J.D. from Howard University. He lives in Westport, Mass.
