Phillip Kydd has been elected to New England Institute of Technology’s board of trustees. He has been with the R.I. Department of Transportation for the past 20 years and is currently its deputy director. Kydd has received several national awards over his career and is credited with helping to establish the Transportation Center of Excellence at the University of Rhode Island. •
