Ray Powrie has been named senior vice president of quality and clinical effectiveness for Women & Infants Hospital.
He has worked in the Division of Obstetric and Consultative Medicine since 1997.
He is a graduate of the University of Alberta, Edmonton, in Alberta, Canada.
Powrie completed an internship at Grey Nuns Hospital and an internal medicine residency at the University of Calgary, where he was chief resident.
