LEXINGTON, Mass. (PRNewswire) — Raytheon Company said today that it will work with Northrop Grumman Corporation to jointly design and develop an advanced technology modular, scalable radar (MSR) system for the U.S. Air Force, under a contract recently awarded by the U.S. Air Force to Northrop for the Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program (MP-RTIP).
Raytheon, a global supplier of commercial and defense electronics, said that its initial share of the contract is $106 million.
