Rebecca Burke has been appointed senior vice president of patient care services at The Miriam Hospital. Also serving as the hospital’s chief nursing officer, Burke will continue to practice her role in nursing leadership. She was the recipient of the University of Rhode Island’s eighth annual alumni award. She is a member of the Rhode Island State Nurses Association, American College of Healthcare Executives and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Burke received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and her master’s degree from Boston University. She lives in Barrington.
