PROVIDENCE – The Rhode Island Business Plan Competition invites the public to join potential competitors at its first of three free workshops, “How to Develop Financial Projections, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Brown Rudnick Berlack Israels LLP, 121 South Main St., Providence.
One of the key elements of a business plan is the section on finances – what your income will look like, what you expect your expenses to be – and how they will change over the next several years. But many people, many people, even experienced entrepreneurs, are not quite sure how to develop such financial projections.

In his fast-paced, 90-minute presentation, Larry Davidson, Larry Davidson, a principal of Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co. Ltd., and a CPA with more than 35 years of experience, will teach you the basics. As someone who has worked with numerous start-ups and emerging companies, he understands how daunting it can be to develop financial projections. Not to worry.
