After falling for 12 consecutive weeks gasoline prices in Rhode Island are unchanged this week, remaining the lowest they have been at any point this year, AAA Southern New England today reported.
AAA’s Oct. 30 survey of prices in Rhode Island found self serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.189 per gallon, the same price as last week.

This is the lowest prices have been locally since the middle of last December. One year ago at this time, the average price was $2.389.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 11 cents, from a low of $2.139 to a high of $2.249. Similar ranges were reported for other grades of fuel. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area.
