Richard Barry has been promoted to president and CEO of Citizens Bank of Connecticut. He oversees the operations of Connecticut’s retail and commercial business for Citizens. He previously held the position of executive vice president in charge of special assets at Citizens. Barry received a bachelor’s degree from Bentley College in Waltham, Mass., and his master’s degree from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. He and his family will relocate to Connecticut from Norwood, Mass.
