Richard “Ric” McIntyre

Richard “Ric” McIntyre has been named director of the honors program at the University of Rhode Island’s Kingston campus. He joined URI in 1987, teaching international and labor economics, and began teaching honors courses there in 1992. McIntyre plans to network across campus to achieve his goals for the program, which include internationalizing the honors curriculum and introducing Web-based technology.
