PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island School of Design’s Web site, www.risd.edu has received several industry awards and honors since its re-launch in September of 2000. Additionally the site was recently selected by the Library of Congress as one of 50 sites to be included in is Web preservation pilot project. The site was redesigned with the New York-based R/GA working in concert with RISD’s in -house Web staff. “Risd.edu represents the best of what the Web should be,” said Roger Mandle, president of RISD. “It’s a site that perfectly reflects our high design standards, in addition to being easy to navigate, highly functional as well as technically advanced and effective in fulfilling its objective of attracting new students.”
