The Rhode Island Technology Council will hold its Grrl Tech Interactive Technology Expo Friday, April 23, at the New England Institute of Technology on Post Road in Warwick. The free, interactive expo is designed for sophomore and junior female high school students and their teachers.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. with keynote speaker Tonya Robichaud, COO of Woonsocket’s Mediaweave, a business communications media company. The technology institute, Region One School to Career and the i.d. Group are sponsoring the event to inform female students of the opportunities in the fields of science and high-technology.
