Robert A. Scalaria, broker/owner of RE/MAX 1st Choice in Cranston, has been selected as the recipient of the 2003 Lear Award. The award is based on his leadership in the real estate industry and his contributions to the Statewide Multiple Listing Service. He is the 2004 president of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Statewide Multiple Listing Service, as well as a director of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors. Scalaria also serves on the executive, finance, nominating, technology and awards committees of the Greater Providence Board. He has earned the National Association of Realtors designation of Certified Buyer Representative.
