Samuel H. Havens has been named to the board of directors at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island. He was former president of Prudential Healthcare and spent over two decades with the company. Havens was a member of the board of directors of the American Association of Health Plans for 15 years, serving as chairman of the board for three years. He retired in 1996.
