Sandra J. Pattie has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer at Bank of Newport. She is responsible for planning, communicating, implementing and directing all activities of the bank. A Certified Financial Planner, Pattie is the 2002 Newport County campaign chairperson of the United Way of Southeastern New England. She also serves on the boards of Workforce Partnership of Grater Rhode Island and the Newport County Chamber of Commerce. She is involved with the American Bankers Association Government Relations Council and is a foundation trustee of CCRI. A Providence College graduate, she lives in Bristol.
