Steven P. Thacker has been promoted to assistant vice president, compliance for The Washington Trust Company. He joined the bank in 1999 as staff internal auditor and was promoted to assistant compliance officer in 2002. Thacker holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. He lives in Scituate.
