LEXINGTON — Stride Rite Corp., a manufacturer of children’s shoes and other footwear,
announced that it had hired PreVision Marketing of Lincoln, Mass., to help improve
sales of its Keds sneakers. Stride Rite is preparing to open six new Keds stores
this year. PreVision is to develop a marketing plan for Keds whose sales fell
off 11 percent in the second quarter, the Boston Globe reported.
