Textron plans to sell $300M of three-year notes

Textron Inc., the world’s largest maker
of business jets, plans to sell $300 million of three-year notes
through its Textron Financial Corp. unit, said people familiar
with the sale.

The company will use the proceeds to pay debt and for general
purposes, the people said. Bank One Corp. and Credit Suisse First
Boston are managing the sale, which may conclude today, the people
familiar said.
