Enplanement at T.F. Green Airport rose by about five percent in February, the first time the airport has seen growth in over a year, according to information released by the Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC).
There were 372,155 total passengers at the Warwick, RI airport last month, up from 343,325 in January 2004 and 354,521 in February 2003, according to RIAC figures.

Last year at this time 712,863 passengers had traveled through the airport, compared to 715,480 so far this year.
The optimistic numbers come as airport officials review scenarios for extending a runway to increase its capacity and offer non-stop coast to coast flights.
