Theodore M. Newcomer Jr. has been appointed to the board of directors of the Rhode Island Hospitality Association. Newcomer is currently senior vice president of operations for Chow Fun Food Group. He has also held positions as a cook, server, bartender and sous chef. He has an associate degree in culinary arts and a B.S. from Johnson & Wales University. •
