Three indicted for Station fire, AP says

Three people were indicted in
connection with The Station nightclub fire in West Warwick that killed
100 people in February, the Associated Press reported.

Dan Biechele, pyrotechnics manager for the 1980s band Great
White, and club owners Jeffrey Derderian and Michael Derderian
were charged with involuntary manslaughter for the fire that also
injured about 200 people, AP said.

A Rhode Island grand jury issued a report earlier on its
investigation into the fire at The Station nightclub, AP reported.

Fireworks used during a performance ignited flammable foam
surrounding the stage. The fire destroyed the nightclub.
