Canadian-based restaurant chain Tim Hortons, which recently bought Westerly-based Bess Eaton, will be opening its first fully converted store in southern New England tomorrow, May 18.
The store opening will be at 25 West Broad St. in Pawcatuck, Conn., near Westerly, at 6 a.m. tomorrow. The store, fully renovated into the Tim Hortons style, will have a full menu including coffee, baked goods and lunch.

On opening day, the first 200 customers win doughnuts for a year; also Boston Bruins alumni Gerry Cheevers and Gary Doak will be signing autographs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will also be prize giveaways and product sampling throughout the day.
