WESTMINSTER — Tyco International, which has offices in Exeter, N.H., has agreed to pay $1.15 billion for Simplex Time Recorder Co., Bloomberg News reported. Simplex, which is based here, installs and services fire and burglar alarms and manufactures control panels and detection devices. Tyco makes ADT alarm systems. Bloomberg quoted observers as saying the acquisition would boost its sales opportunities, selling its product from services, usually more productive than selling the product alone. The sale is expected to be completed in January, Bloomberg said.
