Vania Brown-Small has been appointed clinical manager of the psychiatric unit at Rhode Island Hospital. She will be responsible for continuing and enhancing the quality of care delivered to patients in her unit. Brown-Small is a certified clinical specialist in adult psychiatric and mental health nursing. She has served as director of health and human services for the Narragansett Indian Tribe. Brown-Small last worked as coordinator of Rhode Island’s State Office of Minority Health.
