William H. Murphy has been named senior loan officer for Citizens Mortgage Corporation. He joined the bank from Washington Mutual Bank, where he was a loan consultant. He is a member of the board of directors of New Visions of Newport County, and a member of the Jamestown Affordable Housing Committee. Murphy serves on the board of directors of East Bay Community Action Program, he is vice commander of the Jamestown Ambulance Corps and a volunteer fireman for the Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department. He received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and his master’s degree from Central Michigan University. Murphy lives in Jamestown.
