Dr. Alan B. Weitberg, chairman of the Department of Medicine at Roger Williams Medical Center, has been named assistant dean of academic affairs at Boston University School of Medicine.
Weitberg earned his M.D. at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his training in hematology and medical oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
