After falling each week since Labor Day, gasoline prices in Rhode Island are unchanged this week, according to AAA Southern New England
AAA’s December 5 survey of prices in Rhode Island found self serve unleaded regular averaging $2.04 per gallon, the same price as last week. Since Labor Day the average price for unleaded regular has fallen by $1.19. A year ago at this time, the average price was $1.98.
The range in prices in AAA’s survey for regular unleaded is 25 cents, from a low of $1.96 9 to a high of $2.219. Motorists should continue to shop around for the best prices in their area.
