Allan W. Ballou has been elected president of East Providence-based B.A. Ballou & Co. Inc. He was previously the company’s vice president of sales and marketing. He has held many positions over the past 18 years, including factory manager and director of human resources. Ballou is the fifth generation of the Ballou family to manage the 137-year old firm.
