Gov. Lincoln Almond will testify against the proposed addition of video lottery terminals at Newport Grand Jai Alai and Lincoln Greyhound Park at Monday’s meeting of the Rhode Island Lottery Commission.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Radisson Airport Hotel, 2081 Post Road in Warwick.

The commission is considering requests from Newport Grand Jai Alai to increase the number of video lottery terminals from 776 to 1,301, and from Lincoln Greyhound Park to increase its machines from 1,700 to 3,000.
