Belo announced that it will issue a news release regarding its 2001 third quarter earnings on Wednesday, October 24 at approximately 8:30 a.m. ET. A conference call to discuss the earnings release and other matters of interest to shareholders and analysts will follow at 2 p.m. on October 24.
The conference call will be simultaneously Webcast over the World Wide Web. The press and public are invited to participate in the call in a listen- only mode by dialing 1-800-218-8862 or by logging on to www.belo.com and selecting Quarterly Conference Calls from the News Releases page of Belo’s Web site. Following the conclusion of the Webcast, the conference call will also be available for playback for a period of approximately two weeks on Belo’s Web site.
