Bluestreak receives ITEC award

NEWPORT, R.I. (BUSINESS WIRE)– Bluestreak, an online advertising and marketing infrastructure company, has received an Information Technology Exposition and Conference (ITEC) Award for its accomplishments in the high-tech industry. The award recognizes the company’s mission to provide advertisers and agencies with a unique high-performance technology infrastructure for online advertising campaign production, management and analysis. It also recognizes the company’s accelerated momentum to provide an advanced platform for delivering dynamic, transactional content into other communications mediums, including wireless devices and interactive TV.

The award was presented today at the Providence ITEC Conference during a breakfast co-hosted by the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC). During the breakfast, Governor Lincoln Almond delivered a keynote address and honored Bluestreak and three other local technology firms with ITEC awards for their accomplishments in high-tech industries. Other recipients include: Lighthouse Computer Services, Inc. of Lincoln; Context Media of Providence; and Simpli.com of Providence (a wholly-owned subsidary of NetZero).

Last month, Bluestreak received a $16.5 million round of institutional financing from leading venture capital firms, StarVest Partners, L.P. and CIT Venture Capital. The firms that led Bluestreak’s initial $7 million round of financing in January, Lazard Technology Partners and Zero Stage Capital, also invested in this second round.
