NEWPORT, R.I. (BUSINESS WIRE)– Bluestreak, an online advertising and marketing infrastructure company, has received an Information Technology Exposition and Conference (ITEC) Award for its accomplishments in the high-tech industry. During the breakfast, Governor Lincoln Almond delivered a keynote address and honored Bluestreak and three other local technology firms with ITEC awards for their accomplishments in high-tech industries. Last month, Bluestreak received a $16.5 million round of institutional financing from leading venture capital firms, StarVest Partners, L.P. and CIT Venture Capital. The firms that led Bluestreak’s initial $7 million round of financing in January, Lazard Technology Partners and Zero Stage Capital, also invested in this second round.
