Citizens Financial Group giving employees ‘success bonus’

Citizens Financial Group will give more than 5,000 employees a bonus this Thanksgiving in recognition of the company’s substantial growth this year, Chairman, President & CEO Lawrence K. Fish announced today.

The bonuses will range from $100 to $400 based on length of tenure and will be given to all employees below the level of vice president with more than one year of service.

A total of $1.7 million in bonuses will be awarded.

For employees who have been with Citizens at least three years as of November 1, 2001, the bonuses will be $400 for those working 30 or more hours per week and $200 for those scheduled to work 20 to 29 hours per week. For employees who have been with Citizens more than one year but less than three years effective November 1, 2001, the bonus will be $200 for full-time employees and $100 for those scheduled to work 20 to 29 hours per week.

Earlier this year, Citizens reported record cash operating earnings of $221 million for the year as of June 30, up 18% from $187 million for the comparable prior year period.
