CMIT Solutions offers tech makeover

PROVIDENCE – If your business is in the midst of an IT nightmare, the Small Business Technology Makeover contest could be your solution, CMIT Solutions announced along with its partners Microsoft and Dell.
The contest, which offers up to $75,000 in technology products and services, is available to all small businesses with five or more employees in the Providence area. Small businesses can nominate themselves by submitting a story on their “technology nightmare” in writing or video by Nov. 12.
Judges will consider the applicant’s IT situation and how much of an impact the new technology would have of its operations.
“[We] are reaching out to the Providence-area small business community to give one lucky company a chance to turn their technology horror story into a dream come true,” according to the contest’s press release.
“We understand firsthand the critical role technology plays in a business’ day-to-day operations,” said Jeff Connally, president and CEO of CMIT Solutions.
Winners will be announced on Nov. 19.
