Earl J. “Buddy” Croft III has been named the R.I. Turnpike and Bridge Authority’s executive director. He will assume his new post in August. Croft was most recently chief of staff of the R.I. Family Court. He previously had served in positions including director of community development, director of federal programs, assistant director of public works and assistant director of economic development for the City of Cranston.
