AVANT will establish an 11,000-square-foot process development and pilot manufacturing facility to support the clinical development of its portfolio of bacterial vaccines, including vaccines for biodefense, as well as continue development and product application of its patented thermo-stable preservation technology, VitriLife.

“This is the beginning of what I hope will be an excellent relationship between the city of Fall River and AVANT,” said Fall River Mayor Edward M. Lambert Jr. “We would love to within a few short years, watch AVANT expand and perhaps build an even larger facility, providing even more jobs.”
