Forum to discuss CCRI’s future

WARWICK — Presidents of the state’s three schools of higher education and the
commissioner of higher education will take part in a forum today (Monday, April
16) at the CCRI Knight Campus theater to consider the future of Community College
of Rhode Island. William Holland, the commissioner of high education, who will
be the moderator of the forum, the most recently appointed of the three, joined
the presidents, Robert Carothers of URI, John Nazarian of RIC, and Thomas Sepe
of CCRI. The forum, which begins at 2:30 p.m., is free and open to the public
on a space-available basis.
