NEEDHAM, MASS. — General Dynamics Worldwide Telecommunication Systems, a unit of General Dynamics has been awarded a $10.1 million delivery order to upgrade and expand the telecommunications infrastructure at Alabama-based Anniston Army Depot.
According to General Dynamics, the delivery order, which falls under the U.S. Army’s Digital Switch Systems Modernization Program, includes a major upgrade of the depot’s outside plant cable infrastructure, associated building wiring, and design of a Gigabit Ethernet data network system.

The Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Systems Management Center, located in Fort Monmouth, N.J., will oversee implementation of the project, General Dynamics said.
